    Well there is always last place. My Phillies are playing better but quite get out if the cellar despite being 2 games above 500. In any other division they would be in better shape. Only the AL east are all at .500 or better. Long season. I'm just hoping they can stay close until Howard and utley come back.

    sending Medlen to AAA to stretch him out. doesn't appear they have much faith in Jurjens returning soon.

    Sport South just interviewed Simmons after today`s game about how it felt to hit his first homerun. He sure is a cocky young pup.
    The Bravos seem to be a team of streaks this year. They lose 8 in a row and now have a 6 game winning streak.
