JJ was a fucking train wreck. The broadcasters were talking about him not trusting his planting knee that was operated on.
I don`t know about that, but his pitches looked flat and a little faster than batting practice pitches.
Taking 2 in a row from the Dodgers at their place surprised me.

Last night I thought it was over by the 5th. Holliday had a 6-0 lead and was pitching great then the bottom dropped out.
The Phillies have had the Braves` number in the last few years so I thought this was another loss. The Braves kept coming back and then they`d give up a lead.
It went to extra innings and then old man Jones locked into one, in the 11th, and the walkoff sealed the deal.
    15-13

that was fun. Wish I had been watching when McCann had the grand slam to tie it at six.

I turned it on late and the Braves were down 12-8 in the 8th and I figured it was over. Walked out of the room and came back in just as they tied at 12. I hit rewind on the dvr to watch the comeback. Can't believe Kimbrell gave up a run to send it to extras.

And then in the 11th when Chipper missed that walk off by two feet foul I just knew he was going to strikeout next pitch and this game was going to be one of those 18 innings ends at 2 am marathons.

Two pitches later Jones is the hero. Nobody I would rather have up when the game is on the line. He's the man.

Yep, that was fun. However, my head hurts...too many beers I guess.

It appears the old stallion still has some pop in his bat. Hopefully Chipper can stay somewhat healthy.

I don`t ever remember seeing one series where 1 team was down by at least 6 runs in 2 straight games and yet come back to win them.
I still think back to last year when it looked like they were swinging with the wrong end of the bat and now it looks like a totally different team.

Good to see the Cubs players and fans excited again. You would of thoughht they won a play-off game last night. I'm still trying to figure out why the ump tossed Gonzalez.

Cox would have been screaming and cursing. Gonz had his hands in his pockets like he was having a pre-game chat. He wasn't arguing balls and strikes. It was very strange.
