    Lowe traded to the Indians and McLouth not resigned. Thats 2 steps in the right direction.

    Not sure I'd do it. Prado is two years older but 2 million a year cheaper too. Not to mention he plays multiple positions and can fill in some key infield positions.

    Braves talking to Orioles for OF Adam Jones :
    From ESPN Insider:

    The Braves' apparent trade offer of right-hander Jair Jurrjens, infielder/outfielder Martin Prado and a pitching prospect wasn't enough. Connolly suggests the Orioles might be open to a deal that includes Tommy Hanson, though they may prefer to see him pitch first as he's coming off a shoulder injury.

    "Notable" then. I still can't believe they gave Uggla that monster contract. That was such an obviously stupid decision even at the time that I wonder if Marty Hurney recommended it. If they hadn't done so then maybe they could have made some legitimate additions to the lineup instead of acting like Jack Wilson has anything left.
