Did hear some good news. Gonzales is maybe a week to 10 days from being ready. Soriano is maybe back by early June and Smotz says he is getting closer. If those three guys all get back, wow ! Some body needs to get a friggin hit with a man in scoring position other than Chipper.

The Cubs look like the best team in the majors right now. What a weird year

I don't think they are the best but they are close. It's not a shocker that the Cubs are playing well, they have upgraded their roster in a big way the last couple years. Just keep this in mind, they are the Cubs !!!

Braves demote Chuck James today. The guy tries hard but he is just not a Major League caliber putcher. Interesting to see Oakland come to town tonight. It would be fun to see Kotsay face Devine late in the game in a big situation, you know they both would be pressing.

I remember seeing him on the mound last night and saying out loud, CHUCK FUCKING JAMES . I just knew it was going to be a loss.

Kotsay has to feeling good after getting the game winning hit against his former team on Friday night. The gut has been great so far in a Braves uniform. He plays a good center field and is hitting about a hundred points higher than Andruuuuuuuu.

Tough strech for the Braves starting with a Tuesday DH against the Mucking Fets followed by a visit from Arizona.
