    I hate this deal. Betemit should be playing everyday for the Braves. If it had been Giles in this deal I could have been okay, but Betemit. Jones is hurt, and he could have been playing third today with Orr at second. Bad move.

    This move may not seem like such a good deal right now but the Braves got another good arm for the pen and this Aybar is three years younger than Betemit and could end up developing into a better player. Also, Giles seems to be a big influence on the younger players, and I dont think he should be dealt unless its for a great leadoff hitter.

    Gah, you guys are idiots. Aybar is considered an equal or possibly even greater talent than Betemit and he's farther away from arbitration. The Braves didn't need another full-time starter right now, while the Dodgers did. It's also a good move for Betemit. Meanwhile Baez adds much needed depth to the bullpen, although it may be too little too late.
