i can take losing the NLE to whomever but the fact that this bull pen has been completely ignored is what pisses me off. a damn dummy like me could see that. for a legit, front running franchise to lapse into record breaking bull pen ERA woes is inexcusable in my book. nothing was done during the off season to improve a most vital component and what you let slip away may be gone for many, many years. i've always contended that its easier to keep pace with the next guy than to fall behind and have to work that much harder to catch back up. this slide is tied to money issues within Time Warner and nothing more.

Well you don't have Reismia (sp) to kick around. Placed on the DL with numbness in his fingers. No doubt from counting his unearned money

Sweep by the total payroll 14 million dollar Marlins. Now that is a team that should be complaining about payroll. The Braves payroll is six times higher than the Marlins.Joe Girardi is doing a pretty good job with very limited resources.

Girardi may one day be the replacement for Joe Torree. He probably won't know what to do with all those resources....going from the bottom to the top team in payroll in baseball.

Out of 30 teams in MLB I believe the Braves salary ranks 9th.That means 21 teams spend less on payroll than the Braves.

it appears that the Braves are on the verge of being swept again, now by the Red Sox as the bull pen gives up yet another late inning lead. after Francouer hits three run bomb in the top of the 7th to put the Braves on top 5-3, the bull pen yields a 2 out, 6 run rally (as i type) and the Sox are still batting. the boo birds are out in force in Atlanta, or should i say Fenway South.

The Red Sox come to Atlanta and the stands are full of Sox fans. I watch last night vs the Cardinals and the stands are full of Card fans. WTF is going on in Atlanta?

The Braves still have a great chance to be the wild card in the NL.If they can get to .500 baseball they will be right in the thick of the wild card race.Just be thankful you are in the NL.They would be around 18 games out of the wild card race in the AL and playing out the season.

The James kid looks like the real deal and could be the key to that wild card spot.Good luck.
