    Most figured the starters would get things turned around, although I still don't know why Thomson started out in the bullpen. I'm not sold on Sosa, though, and Ramirez really needs to show some improvement. The bullpen obviously remains a concern as well, and the health of the infielders seems to be an annual issue.

    Well, the Braves continue to own the Mets. And without Chipper and Renteria.

    Rumor has it the Braves will only carry one pitcher each time they play the Mets the rest of the year. I mean, that is all they need to beat them.:woot:

    i stayed up late to watch the rain delayed game in washington on friday. atlanta scored 3 in the top of the 8th to tie it but the nats got a runner on third and then remlinger threw one about 2 feet over the catchers head and i turned it off. our bull pen has got to step it up. this is getting old.

    He was feeling some soreness in his throwing arm. I can't remember exactly which part of his arm he was feeling the discomfort.
