And one more thing...water. Drink it like you won't be able to get anymore.:) I consume 64 to 96 ounces (almost) daily. Some days, I just don't want water and I drink coffee, green tea and some stupid EAS drink I really like.

Lainey, funny how some doctors will supervise people on the Atkins, but others (like mine) will lecture me for 10 minutes about it not being the best thing because it would/should raise my cholesteral which in turn, he says, would have impact on my higher than normal glucose levels. Well, since I've been on it, my glucose level went down, so did my Hgb A1c level, and they did labs today for cholesteral, ldl, hdl, triglycerides, and iron (history of low iron level). At the end of the whole appt, which he rushed me out of but charged me $105 for, he said keep on doing what I'm doing. Damn doctor didn't even notice the change in weight at the beginning of the appt!! Just wanted to talk to me about the higher than normal glucose level!!

Way to go you 2 on the combined weight loss. It sure does help to have someone else doing it. I'm getting alot of support from my family and a few friends who are on it.

Thanks LadyJane! I was shocked to hear 30 as I only expect it to be 15-20. My goal is a total of 60 by the end of the year which I now know is so attainable plus more!
