Confuses the sheep and opens a great big apologetic can of worms.

More convenient, yes, but we've also given them a lot more motivation.

For the record, that's not what I said. I said that religion was one of the most important decisions of a person's life, and that whatever decision is made, it will be continuously reinforced (or reversed) by that person over time. That's not the same thing as sitting in a corner every day wringing one's hands over some epic dilemma.

I realize that the vast majority of people don't spend all day dwelling on religion. Heck, I don't. I haven't even been going to church half the time this summer and fall. That doesn't mean I haven't put some time into it, or that it's not the most important decision of my life, though.

A lot of people handle important decisions lightly and move on. That doesn't mean it wasn't an important decision overall. It just means those people didn't do their homework and will likely experience unpleasant consequences. That's true for religion, marriage, or making a major purchase like a home or a car as was suggested earlier.

That's because there isn't a good method in practice yet to measure supernaturally. We're trying to measure the supernatural with natural means, and it hasn't worked yet. There have been flickers here and there, but not much of what most would call 'substantial'.

He'll fulfill what's written about him in the Bible.

So, unique entities aren't repeatable and predictable? :scratchinghead:

That was the point made earlier. We don't currently have a test for supernatural.

Doesn't have to be reasonable, it just has to be possible.
