Perfect warm up for a new QB. Small defense against a massive OL. Shouldn't be a problem.

Remember, LSU's deep. Jarret Lee, a rising Sophomore was the 7th rated QB in the country coming out of high school. Not too shabby.

It's fun to see David slay Goliath now and then. Here is the bottom line. App is a great program but they are not and never will be a program that can compete with the BCS teams. They caught Michigan on a day when the stars were lined up right, and that's what made it great. Michigan would destroy App on most every match up as would LSU. App fans need to enjoy the great success of their program but not get blinded by the illusion that they could be a consistent bowl team at the next level.

Even though they got shutout in 2005,

ASU had more total yards than LSU. That probably doesn't happen often to LSU at home, weird stat, seeing as how ASU didn't score.

that is an interesting stat.....but I guess they would get more yards with LSU starting on Apps side of the field every time they got the ball.

by the way, LSU had more yards than ASU. LSU had 371 total yards where as ASU had 256.

    I stand corrected,

I think ASU did out gain LSU in rushing and was pretty close in time of possession. Pretty impressive at LSU! With their projected starting QB being kicked off the team, I think the score will be respectable, if ASU's defense can hold their own, especially the rebuilt secondary.
