I'm sorry Dukie, but I have never liked the Braves, but I don't hold it against you for liking them.

 

Actually my favorite team is the Devil Rays. Yeah, I'm a fairweather fan allright.

I don't like the Braves. The Rays are my team of the southeast until Charlotte gets a team.

 

pointing out a team that had the talent to win their division but fell flat on their face for a good portion of the season is not impressive. yes, i noticed the date of the thread. i also noticed there were no posts in the summer months. why is that? they were sucking ass for the first half of the year, and no posts? why patti?

i'm bitter tonight.

 

No, I don't post a lot in here, just like I don't post a lot in the football forum either but that doesn't mean I'm not a Panthers fan.

I like sports, some more than others, but I am not one that reads every sports page on the net and in the papers and keeps up with individual stats of all the players blah blah blah. But that does not make me a fairweather fan, just one that isn't as serious as most of you guys are.

And about the Astros, my brother lives in Houston and I went to see him last April and he took me to an Astros game and I posted that right after I got back.

So if I ain't got a dog in the fight I'll cheer for my brother's. Anyway Biggeo ( or however you spell his name ) was so sweet to my little nephew. I'm a big fan of his now.
