Assassins creed looks pretty cool. Thanking about buying it. Any one played it yet?

Got it for Christmas. Graphics are mind blowing, and the concept is really cool. From reviews, it's about 50 hours of gameplay, and about the only knock I am seeing is that it is repetitive. In other words, you do the same tasks over and over again with only minor differences from level to level.

Seeing that Blockbuster allows you to keep a game for up to 12 days now, might be better as a rental since it doesn't really have a lot of replay value. But I definitely recommend it.

I bought a ps3 off ebay that came with this game. It's nice to look at and all, but it's damn repetitive. In each part, you have like 30 citizens to save, who deserve to die anyways for stealing. You have to climb every lookout post to find objectives, pickpocket some guys for info, sit on benches to listen to people talk, beat people up, aka "interrogate" them..how modern. All this while avoiding just walking normally though the streets.

The AI is also fucking stupid. You often get in sword fights with like 5 soldiers, who of course take turns fighting you. Genius. If you run away, they make the effort to chase you up to the top of buildings, only to lose you once you hide in a poorly shielded roof garden. At least guards in metal gear solid will make an effort to look in blatantly obvious hiding spots right in front of their face.

It's a decent game, just not as great as the hype made it out to be before it came out.

I heard the ending sucked worse than Halo 2's.

The game is supposedly going to be part of a trilogy, so I wouldn't base a whole lot on that ending.

I have it on the 360, and the graphics are nuts. The game play is slow, but fun if you have a day off. Is it just me or does anyone else want the ending to be your guy hooking up with that woman doctor?

On the commercial for the game it has the song from the intro to House on it. Anyone know the name of that song? I'd like that as a ringtone.
