The State players and Herb both have a lot of class. I don't see any trash talk or other antics on the court...they just play hard.

I just hope the Heels can steer clear of them in the ACC tourney...we all know what "they" say about beating a team 3 times in one season.

It could have been a little closer though - hard to enjoy it as much when it's a blow out. I just kind of half way watched the second half. Was hoping for a win, just a close win.

Of course I guess the game was even harder to enjoy for the woofpack fans.


The thing that impresses me more than anything else for this Heels team is SIX road wins in the ACC - that is huge for this young team. Now they need to take care of UVA and Maryland at home and see if they can make dook choke in derm.

this just shows how over-rated unc-raleigh is. they were very lucky to pull out wins against teams like clemson, miami, virginia, and vt.

 

By your definition, everyone is overrated.

 

Coming into the season I was worried about potentially losing both games to State. I still think they're a dangerous team, but they need to play fundamentally sound basketball in order to win and last night they were completely out of sorts. Honestly I do think there's some sort of mental block that comes up due to the pressure of never winning against their main rivals, because they seem to play pretty well against most teams. But I hate the Wolfpack anyway, so whatever.

 

They haven't learned how to deal with pressure on the perimeter. It's really annoying.
