    From that article, Gannt talks like Davis will definitely get the start. I was kinda hoping they would put McCree in, at least for the Patriots game.

    I never thought I would say this but I am starting to miss Colin Branch......

    What do you get when you put two safeties who can not cover on the field with three linebackers who can not cover either? Torched!

    I still don't. McCree is a better safety, and if Bashir had come to play, he'd have looked much better, too. Davis has some growing to do, but he still has more in him than Branch.

    The same thing we had last year.

    We should have fixed it then. If Mcree and Bashir can not play better than Davis then we did not do much to fix it. If they can then Fox needs to bench Davis til he earns the spot.

    Branch was a capable FS. Without Bashir performing up to potetial, we don't have any of those currently on the roster. As much as McCree's hitting potential excites me, it still leaves us with the problem of Minter at FS, which we're currently trying to cover by playing off with our corners. It's a bad situation, and no one can claim that they didn't see it coming.
