    Giants fans need to accept the fact that Eli Manning is a benchable quarterback at this stage of his career. He can be a solid mentor and veteran bridge QB for their next starter, but it's not 2007 anymore.

    I'm an advocate of player safety. I'm fine with high impact, high velocity plays like the kickoff being removed from the game. I'm a fan of taking any blows to the head out of the equation, even the ticky tack hands to the face plays. I'm good with all of that.



    But this blue tent protocol shit is fucking ridiculous

    The reason is for darkness and eye exam, but could be done in lockerroom.. would guess tent is to get them back on field faster if they're ok.

    Houston's backup QB got the tent and the lockerrom, though. And he appeared to be perfectly fine.


    I really don't like players being removed from a game against their will. Football is very dangerous, but completely voluntary. These are grown men. Not every player who played in the 80's and 90's ended up killing themselves. It's an overreaction and it's hurting the NFL brand.

    Bill O'Brien takes it up the shitter as a head coach. All I keep hearing about is how great he is at winning without a quarterback. Take away his elite defense, and he's not doing a whole lot of winning is he? Funny how that works.


    He's extremely entertaining, but he's not a good head coach. He's a funnier Hue Jackson.
