Fouts is starting to get a far away look on his face, which sucks. He was a great player and a pretty good TV guy at one point.

I liked him a lot as a player. But over the years he's like turned big corporate as a long winded color guy who knows only the scribble put in front if him. It's like realty drama shit meets old school can't have a sec of silence so we talk stupidly between plays. He's also so wrong on reviews and such and his modus opporendi seems reading meaningless stats and personal minutia from a cheat sheet held up in front of him like a poster board on snl.

He's pushing 70 and he's been hit in the head a lot. Lower your expectations.

I agree that CBS has the weakest depth of all the networks. Solomon Wilcots is probably the second best they have to Romo, but there's a big drop off after that.

Edit: I didn't even realize Wilcots was canned last summer. I guess that makes Gannon their #2, but he's a pretty big dolt.

Romo is not bad, but his boldness after being decent has lead to a little too much mouth. He was better at the start than now.

I completely disagree. He was a little annoying at first, but he's tightened up his game, and he's now my favorite guy. He's the only guy - aside from Collinsworth - who correctly points out critical game situations. Those two are far better than anyone else in the business.

I'm going to be charting how often New England plays 8 in the box on 1st and 2nd down against Jacksonville. I bet it 100% or very close.

If Bortles suck factor is low they have a chance. I heard something interesting yesterday. Since week 5 what defense has given up the fewest points?

Patriots. They stunk up the world prior to that.

It actually is a mismatch. Bortles will have to play the best game of his career if Jacksonville cares to win. Jalen Ramsey running his mouth isn't very wise either.

I like Vrabel, but I don't like that hire. There's always a learning curve for a new head coach. The Titans are capable of winning now.
