i can't figure out of the shallow depth of field they're using in these games when interviewing people on the court is post-processed or in-camera.... it seems off.

Russell Westbrook has a very rare, rare quadruple/triple. 20 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, 10 turnovers

 

yeah, westbook has always been this way. so many unforced turnovers -- in fact, it wouldn't shock me if he's had a quadruple double before. 10+ turnovers isn't a rarity for him.

he's an amazing player, and i watched the season he broke robertson's triple double record and posted his first triple double average for a year. it was exciting, but his play is just not winning basketball -- at least, not at a very high level. the dude's just got it in his head that he's gonna swing for the fences on every single play. and he hits some homeruns and he strikes out a ton. him going to the lakers will either work because lebron calms him down, or it's going to implode because westbrook just can't do anything other than be westbrook. my guess is implosion.

 

WTF. Now this is bad.

they're a rough watch, but giddey is pretty damn good. i was a bit sad to see them break up that paul team. frankly, i had really soured on chris paul when he went to the clippers -- that team was such a whiney bunch. but watching him play in okc and how he brought such a level of winning to that team was pretty amazing. same thing he's doing with the suns now. i don't think the suns talent is much more than what okc had, frankly.
