    Things are not rosy in Denver. With New England beating them and likely knocking them out of the playoffs things are tough on the team. If they move on from Russell Wilson it will result in an 85 million cap hit

    Pairing a neophyte head coach of an offensive background with this owner is horrible idea. Tepper will burn this guy out within two years. Maybe Ben Johnson will be a good head coach somewhere, but not on a team where he has to subordinate himself to a hedge fund manager.


    Either way, it's nice to see the owner from hell immediately jumping into the same pattern of compulsive behavior that got us to 2-13. Instead of delegating the hiring process and letting a GM interview multiple candidates, he's ready to write a blank check to one guy who may not even be available until late January/early Feburary.

    Seriously, though, you've got an up and comer in the building in Evero, and you've got a front office up and comer in Dan Morgan, but neither guy seems to be under consideration for a promotion. Typical Panthers incompetence in terms of identifying talent.
