    If Lance was ready to start, he'd be starting. Right now he's a gadget player who took an entire year off from FCS football. He probably shouldn't even be the direct backup to Garoppolo considering SF's playoff aspirations.

    With Mahomes being off, Russ nearly scrambling into game-ending safeties, and Zach Wilson looking like Blaine Gabbert, I'm wondering if NFL defenses are figuring out sandlot QB bullshit.

    Washington's defense has definite problems. Their offense does too but I assume Ron will find another son of a coach to try and rectify that this offseason.
