    This solution sounds too sensable to me, so there must be a catch. Why not wait until after the first round was over, see what kind of RB talent was available, then either make the deal that night before the 4th round or send him packing?

    Rick Morrison (if I'm thinking of the right guy) reminds me a little of Flanders from Simpsons and the guy who was in Fargo/Boogie Nights.

    I wasn't ever much for Coach Love. Can't remember his name but the South coach was always a good guy.

    The 4th round compensation is only for RFA, and RFA dealing ends the week before the draft. It would likely take more than that, if he does last that long.

    either of you guys remember Don Sparks? Back in my day he was my D-line coach and the throwing coach for track. Now he's at South Iredell, and I heard he was AD. He was (and I assume still is) a GREAT guy.
