My only reservations about the 4th round pick:
*it's the 2nd pick of the second day. You can pretty much spend a lot of the night making this choice, knowing you have your choice of just about anyone left and quite possibly will get the guy you want. That type of leeway is golden...a lot of hot players get pulled in the top of 4 that should have gone before then.

That and Gary can be any style of back, and fits what we want, but a lot of him was that he was a WCO back and had great hands/passing game skills. Now we're not WCO. Can we use him still? Definately. I feel that if he stays healthy he can be a slightly slower Curtis Martin...successful regardless of style of O.

ON Armstrong...would I take him? Hell yeah. For a few years. We need another voice, and maybe he can be that. Or maybe he can simply make a few plays. Will he be there for the championship run? Dunno. I'm not naive to suggest we are owed that. This could help be a step toward that, certainly. At the right price I take him and enjoy him, he's a hell of a linebacker and I'd rather have him than any other name vet.

    Good Point on the 4th...

    But what's Gary - 25?

That's a tough decision. It's really tough considering he had Griffith blocking for him the year he was really good.

sign me, I'll block for him AND play for league minimum. Plus, I'll be the biggest fullback in the league's history.

Gary's health may be an issue. Seems strange that the Broncos would chose Terrell Davis over him at this point. Given that Davis' knees are entering Natrone Means territory, why take the chance of losing Gary unless something worse is wrong with him? Send him to some one besides the numbnuts we've been using to have both his reconstructed knee and broken leg checked out first before even considering making this move.

Armstead, hell yeah do it if we can. The market will apparently be glutted with LB's this year and it will help keep the price down. After that we need to decide on if we want Hambrick and Naives back. Minor will be back as backup on the outside and now Towns is in limbo as a starter or being Morgan's backup. It'll be interesting to see what we do at LB in the next few weeks.

I would say Gary would be worth a fourth, although I like your angle on the fourth round pick MVM.
Adding Gary, at worst, gives us a nice one-two punch @ RB and we have yet to see what Dee Brown has to offer.
I like the statement by Armstead! To have a vet endorse our new coach like that further validates the selection of our HC. I'd love to have him and his character on board.

Ooops, Forgot about the Fridge (and I grew up a Bears fan). I don't remember what his actual dimensions were. I'll look into it and get back at ya.

I saw on the tv the other day that he's back in Aiken, SC laying brick. He runs the company with his brother or something. The Fridge whips ass.
