I don't think WCU has released theirs yet, although we may be taking our time since we havent even put in the new goal posts yet..

    :laugh1:

Coastal Carolina is supposed to be good...and the 2nd half of that schedule looks rough. You guys are playing what? 3 1-AA playoff teams?

Apparently, you are missing bk's assertion that they're playing a tough schedule due to 3 I-AA playoff teams ahead of them.

K, well I can't believe they agreed to play LSU that late in the season...what is up with that except for the cash....hope they find a new AD soon.....sounds like some weird decisions are going on up in the high country.

Damn that's an ugly schedule. bk's right, y'all better watch out for Coastal Carolina, they're dangerous.

The main thing I remember about App State this past year was the quick-strike threat of their passing game. Is most of that passing attack returning this year, or did the QB and some of the WRs graduate?

DaVon Fowlkes the 1AA.org offenssive player of the year graduated. He was a stud and should make some NFL team happy.

"A senior from Fort Wayne, Ind., Fowlkes set Appalachian and SoCon records with 103 receptions, 1,618 receiving yards and 2,313 all-purpose yards in 2004. He led the nation in all three categories and fell just 94 yards shy of the national I-AA record of 1,712 receiving yards set by Delaware’s Eddie Conti in 1998. "

Richie Williams was the QB who threw all those passes to Fowlkes - he'll be back for one more season.

it's called a cupcake game for cash. LSU expects to walk all over ASU to look good. WCU played Bama last season and got blown out and on the last play their starting QB was gonna play, he got injured for the season.

Smaller schools are in a win/win situation. They can either take the loss and the cash, or pull an upset and still get the cash. It's great.

I don't have a problem with it early in the season, just not this late in the middle of the conference schedule, that's all.

well honestly it's a L anyways...most teams have one on their schedule like that anyways. It does suck if they get injured or something, but by that time, they should already know where they are going to be after the season.
