So? 116 other teams didn't get Joe Mauer either and many of them don't suck as bad as Florida State on offense. Boldin and Walker turned into great pros, but what did they do in college? Not a lot, because the offense has sucked since Weinke left. You can't just blame the QB either, because you guys haven't been able to run the ball since then too. Blaming Rix is too easy. Rix didn't make the linemen not block. Rix didn't make the running backs dance instead of hitting their holes. Rix didn't have compromising pictures of Bobby that kept him from being beaten out by someone else.
Because of the consistently awesome defense. FSU's offense last year was utterly pathetic against Miami as well. They'd toss up some big passing numbers against the Wake Forests of the world, but still come up small overall. Why do you think you guys keep losing to N.C. State? Even Carolina beats State.

Defensive players can be replaced easily. Offense (except perhaps at running back) takes experience.

ehhh, it's not like Walker and AB were raw late round picks. They were college stars.

It's true they've had offensive line and rushing problems in recent years. There's been a drop off from the top level, yes, but their are much worse offenses out there.

Both were drafted on athletic potential far ahead of more productive receivers. The running and passing games have been horrid in Tallahassee for a good while now. Better than many teams, sure, but well below what a top 25 offense should be.

What happened to the two Miami receivers? They just up and disappeared in the 2nd half.

That jones kid looks like a good north-south runner, but his O-Line couldnt block 5 bingo players from a nearby retirement home. Loved the 1st half lead blocker that Ole'd right past three tacklers and made Jones deal with them. O-Line guy ended up 10 yards down the field all alone. Great job there.

FSU's defense is insanely quick, but can be a victim of its own over pursuit tendencies. Their offense is painful to watch though. God is it ugly.

I could have swore I saw her this A.M on Sportscenter when they showed the FSU player high 5'ing people in the stands. The camera followed the player(Ha after blacking out one fans T-Shirt.......What was on it any of you Noles know??) and it looked like her in the pic just as they cut away. Might be wrong but it looked like her.
