Miami would have had about 45 more seconds, but its not like the game ended on a desperation throw. Had time for 4 first down throws, down it and kick a FG. Miami's offense just got the hammer thrown down on them. I remember when Miami recievers used to make plays.

wrong answer. fsu's post-weinke QB was supposed to be joe mauer -- yes, that joe mauer -- and not rix, definately not sexton. mcpherson was talented, but part of that poor character that ruined fsu football for five seasons.

they've finally gotten rid of all the bad seeds.

fsu offensive players suck? anquan boldin sucks? javon walker sucks?

what really tore apart florida state was the death of devaughn darling. then you put adrian mcpherson into the mix. then cris rix being a prima dona. then wyatt sexton claiming to be god after a tick bit him. and last year, fsu lost it's entire offensive line to injuries. they started off 5-0 and were ranked in the top-5 and ended up winning the acc championship and losing to no. 3 penn state in triple overtime.

but, yeah, jeff bowden gets criticized all the time. he lives right down the street from me.

you mean, xavier lee. his problem last year was injuries and not being able to pick up the offense because he couldn't practicce. he finally had surgery this spring, but missed spring drills. he looked pretty good this fall though in practice. he could start if drew goes down.

miami has the best defense in the country. fsu is in it's second season with it's offensive line coach and the line has new starters. there are only SIX seniors on this team. they are young.

this offense will be piling up the numbers this season.

they should toss out those rules in the final two minutes of each half.

how so? fsu had two nfl first-round picks leave early -- CB antonio cromartie (chargers) and LB ernie sims (lions).

    it could have been worse.

They are young, but athletically, Fagg and Carr look the part (I don't think anyone makes fun of Fagg's name to his face, kids got some guns). Carr had a couple of opportunities on some balls but he'd jump too soon.

And even though their was no running game, I like Booker. That one swing pass where he juked the Miami defender out of his jock changed the game.
