I can't wait for the W40K MMO, but I don't know that I'll be interested in Warhammer. I doubt that anything can top WoW in the fantasy genre.

I think a World of Starcraft could. Same basic deal, but set it futuristic on other worlds, with alien races.

I'm not so into those kinds of games, but, and I am just asking here...what is the appeal? I don't get it, but am open to an explanation of why those games are such a hit with adults as well as kids....

I would be interested, if you were accepting very casual players. I haven't played WoW in months now. Anyone want to buy a 70 undead warlock on Draka with several PvP epics?

MMOs are generally more unpredictable than AI. Ultimately people also fall into regular patterns, but it's still more complex than the algorithms written into the games. And in terms of video games in general, it's like any book or movie, only you get to interact with it instead of being a passive observer. It's a rush not altogether different from playing a sport.

Ah....thanks. I suppose if I tried it, I would get into it, considering how I can be.

    Thanks Collin.

There are social aspects as well. You get to kick some serious ass with your friends. That’s always a good time.
