The model for what RLJ wants to do is Comcast SportsNet in DC and Philly, YES Network in NY/NJ, MSG in NY, or NESN in NE. To a lesser extent, Cox Sports Television in NO.

I think that Fox Sports Net as we know it will go away and be incorporated in the new channel. I know RLJ doesn't have ties to either of the sports organizations (Fox or ESPN/ABC), however, unless he goes with the Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast model, he has to use one of the two services to fill non-Bobcats programming.

One can hope that this network gets the local broadcast rights for Charlotte, Davidson, and Winthrop that Action 64 does for some Charlotte games.

    Possible on-air talent:

PxP: Dave Jageler (Celtics), Steve Holman (Atlanta), Gary Hahn (NCSU), Sam Smith, Matt Swerad (Charlotte).

Color: Gerry V (NO), Cedric Maxwell (Celtics), Hersey Hawkins (Memphis), Mike Gminiski (Duke), Brad Daugherty (ABC/ESPN), Henry Williams (Charlotte)

Sideline: Cindy Beaumont (News14), Kricket Morton (WBTV News 3), Tiffany Golden (WSOC)

Studio/Updates: Mike Solarte (News 14), Gary Williams (WFNZ), Jim Noble (FXSS), Mike Hodgwood (FXSS, Raycom/JP), Chris Justice (NBC6)

I checked out the CSTV website, and they have added non-Cox affiliates, but they are minor.

    Houma---Time Warner
    Shreveport---Time Warner
    Monroe---Time Warner
    Biloxi/Gulfport MS---Cable One
    Mobile---Comcast
    Pensacola----COX
    Fort Walton Beach---COX

All of these markets are New Orleans designated (Saints) areas.
