LL strike zones are big and probably more accurate according to the rules than the MLB games on Tv. You have been brainwashed to think the current Dixie Cup size strikezone implemented by MLB the last 15 years is accurate. Anyway, those umps in LL call games all year and the kids are well aware of what is a strike because the umps have to call a big zone or the games would last forever. I wish MLB would do the same and speed up the games.

    metro,
i am not talking so much about balls up and down...but more-so in and out...mostly out. kids are afraid to pitch inside because they do not want to plunk someone. a pitch that is 6 inches off the plate is impossible for a 12 year old to hit. i am fine with calling pitches from just below the knee to the letters. but the plate is only 17 inches wide. the catchers are moving their gloves so much after the catch (in an attempt to frame the pitch) sometimes that it is ridiculous.

Red Sox-A's battling on the West Coast for the Wild Card lead, and Espn shows Oregon-California? FUck that. I don't mind the final four teams in the US, but the regional finals should not overtake MLB games./

    Hey everybody TANK here!

Who gives a pop corn poot about ANOTHER Red Sox slide? Over paid pro's already dominate the airways. Lets give these kids their due. Anybody who has ever played or coached the game has to appreciate these televised tournaments. I have missed very few of these games, including the regionals. One of these days I'm goin up there....may even go to Omaha to gatch a college world series too.........DING!
