    You serious Clark?

Your post set off the slight twinge of what I think may be a midlife crisis for me when I realized it had been 18 years since I saw them at Myrtle. Yikes.

The Eagles still play and sound better than any other band their age. Joe Walsh is a great guitar player.

Glen Frye jumped the fish with the Miami Vice soundtrack. Don Henley is the political guy in the group, edgier stuff. Walsh just rocks.

BTW who was the fifth guy far off to the right. Just an extra guitar?

Hate that I missed the show! I love The Eagles!

    Absolutely. I agree.

I grew up listening to The Eagles. My dad played their music all the time, but I didn't particularly care for "Hotel California." I really love "New Kid in Town," "I can't tell you why," and "One of these Nights."

I hate that I missed them last night. I think I came in on the last two songs - "Desperado," which is not one of my favorites, and some other tune.

[I know the Ramones, can't figure out why they're "punk," sound like plain ole rock to me. But, they are what they're supposed to be.]

Anyhow, you have no idea what can be done with those six chords.

6 is overkill. 3 or 4 is more than enough for most rock and roll.
