    I grew up on the Eagles and have always always loved them. Was hopelessly in love with Glenn Fry. Don Henley ain't bad either. And Joe Walsh, you just gotta love him. These guys all had successful solo careers also.

    Steve Perry makes me want to puke. That and after watching the key board player ball like a baby on VH1s Behind the Music I wanted to puke again. The Eagles are light years better IMO.

    Desperado, Easily my favorite Eagles tune. That and the song that starts out "There are stars in the southern sky" cant remember the name of that one?

    I'm not saying they were/are bad. They had a unique sound for the time with some unique individuals that made some catchy timely songs. But to me saying they were the mosted talented group is a stretch.

    Journey was a "supergroup" of professional musicians + Perry who wanted to be popular. They were very talented.

    Desperado is my favorite too. But I love them all. What was that song where they started out with that five part harmony? That was beautiful.
