Anybody have any tips on making going to the gym fun?

    I need to get back in the swing of things and start going again. But it gets boring.

    1) vary your workout. if you do the same things over and over again you are likely to get bored.

    2) sign up at a gym with multiple locations. when you are tired of seeing the same people day after day, the change of scenery helps. It also good for changing up your workout because each gym will have different equipment

    3) set attainable goals and have a workout plan to meet them. as you acheive your goals, set higher ones

    1) Did that. Didn't help. Still the same stuff, just in a different order.

    2) Uh, too late.

    3) Don't have any goals.

    I do need a workout buddy. Someone who will use the machine beside me then swap so we can chat... something that will distract me from what I'm doing and make time pass faster.

    LOL No Couz isn't a chatter at the gym. He gets his serious face on, esp between sets when he gets up and walks around stretching.
