I'm glad you got in to see a doc, DG. Even without insurance (been there, done that), it was the right thing to do. I pray they can help you, and quickly. :worried:

It has to have time to grow into scar tissue- happening right after surgery, it would be called an abscess.

Well, still no answers as of yet. Dr. Rad said that there is no need for me to go to Urgent Care because "I'm under his care, he can do everything they can, and he's free." So he gave me an exam and drew 2 tubes of blood. Said he wants to look at my white cell count and check my liver, and we should have the results back tomorrow or the next day depending on whether the lab had picked up yet or not. He told me just to continue taking tylenol and to page him if things change.

If you have to go down to the hospital I'll come down and sit with you. I like hanging around waiting rooms and talking to people. Holler if you need company. Don't go alone.

what if anything else did he look at. all the blood work will tell him is that you have an elevated white blood cell count - woowee you have infection, no shit.

Adhesions/obstruction (yes you can have a partial obstruciton and still not be constipated)

i had a fever for 3 days and had a 94% blockage - i was actually passing normal BM's up until the morning i finally went to the hospital.

Ovarian Cyst- doesn't usually present with a fever, not as dangerous unless it torques

they hurt like a mother when they rupture but you'd be bleeding out a bit and KNOW something was wrong down there.

Ectopic pregnancy- you won't necessarily miss a period with this and could be criticial

i have never had one of these thank God.

Kidney stones- not as likely with the pain presenting in front but have seen it happen

not a constant fever before it passes, i jesus have had this too. the day i passed it i swear it hurt more than pushing my babies out drug free....it does not sound like K-stones.

Gall stones- would likely be nauseated and more sickly feeling than just pain

    ***DING DING DING***

THIS sounds possible to me. i had my gallbladder removed at the age of 19, 3 weeks after giving birth to curtis. ALL of your symptoms sound possible to be the gallbladder. mine was full of sand. i had fevers and a slight throb that after a few weeks turned into a nagging pain. then one day BAM i thought i had a miscarriage the pain got so bad. i did not have nausea until after i had to 'ride out' the attacks. after an attack i would vomit every time. but i remember waking up wet from fevers before they knew it was the gallbladder. get that fucker removed ASAP if it is bad!

pancreatitis- unlikely as you should have a fever, nausea and vomiting

i have never had this but curtis did/does. he said it was like a side sticker after running the mile. but i know this can get worse and cause MUCH more pain.
