Any runners post here? Would this be the right forum, or should I post somewhere in sports?

Unfortunately, I too have the runs. It all started innocently enough with one of those 2 lb. Hickory Farms beef sticks and a big can of purple jelly.

I've never had jelly from a can. You sure it wasn't industrial grease?

Cranberry sauce in a can is considered jelly.

    Hey VP,

What kind of shoes do you run in? brand?

I just bought some Asics Kayano's for the first time. I have always like them but the price on those shoes were too expensive. Anyway I got some after using a gift certificate. I'm use to running in Nike Air Max's but the new 360's were out of my price range ($160:77321_bs: ).

I usually run about 2-3 miles at the gym but in the spring/summer it's 3-5 miles.

I run in Asics, but I honestly don't know the name of the model. Mine generally run between $75 - $85. I really don't think that you need to be spending much more than that. I was - and will be again soon - putting 22 - 25 miles a week on them and they are just fine.

I can't speak to how they do on a treadmill. Ugh. Buy a nice long sleeve running shirt (I got a nike for Christmas) throw on a sweatshirt and run outside.

I've gone around and around and always come back to Asics. 2090s I think? Just a good shoe, I like them. The latest of that model is the 2100 I'm pretty sure. I tried Kayanos and they killed me.
