Any Gamecocks on this board???

Uh...we don't do too bad vs. the dogs. Almost won last year with a first time starter, 2 freshmen receivers and 2 freshmen WR's. Hell, we even beat the Dawgs a couple of times with Holtz.

 

I live in Columbia now and the gamecocks are shoved down your throat 24-7, like it or not. optimism is at an all time high. 10 wins , I doubt it. Rice is a playmaker though. to hear the sports radio is a freaking joke. everybody is brainwashed into thinking they win a national championship just because Spurrier is there. what-if scenarios gone wild.

Spurrier is the most entertaining thing about this team.

 

A lot of UGA vs. South Carolina games are the ugliest games ever (On both sides.) 3 of the last four games they have been pretty close, but God they are so tough to watch. Doesn't South Carolina have a good running back, or at least a decent one this year? Mitchell did better than expected. If they had a good running game last year then they would have been 8-4 or 9-3. I think the biggest cause for excitement is that huge win over Florida and the other win over Tennessee. Even though Tennessee was mediocre last year, Tennessee is still Tennessee to opposing fans in the SEC and a win against them is always big.

He was robbed and you know it. And no, I will not be saying Tereshinski for Heisman this year. I think it's funny that South Carolina only improved their record by a game and Florida improved theirs by two when running a new offense yet Spurrier is a genious and Meyer is doing crappy. Spurrier got way too much pub for going 7-5 and finishing third in the SEC East

 

I guess his leading Georgia to victory over the Shamecocks didn't impress the voters enough!!!!!

 

You need to make up your mind whether the Gamecocks were any good last year. They suck, but Shockley should have gotten the Heisman based on his performance against them?

 

After Spurrier kicked 11+ players off the team? Started a new QB? 2 Freshmen WR's, 2 Freshman RB's?

Yeah...he didn't deserve ANY credit.
