    slows shit down though. Takes for damned ever to open my VPN client, because its scanning so damned much.

    Curious - my VPN is just fine, as is the rest of the system. I didn't notice any change. Your VPN client may be configured to do all kinds of system checks when it starts, and for some reason that interacts badly with some part of OneCare. I know of at least 15 systems that my friends/family have running it and haven't heard complaint one...

    Windows LiveOne Care....i took Bootays advice, got the beta and then bought it for a year for $19.95 before the price went up. Zero, i mean zero, problems on my home machine. Gracias senor Bootay.
