    Angelina Jolie goes head to head with Barbara Walters on "20/20," Friday, July 11. Read on for a teaser.

    After her highly publicized split from husband Billy Bob Thornton, which came hot on the heels of adopting a son, Angelina Jolie has returned to the big screen as treasure-seeking babe Lara Croft.

    Jolie professes that her "Tomb Raider" character is closer to her true self than any role she's inhabited, which speaks volumes when you consider that Croft is a fearless globe-trotting fortune hunter who lets nothing -- and no one -- stand in her way.

    To avoid comparisons with her father Jon Voight's acting legacy, Jolie dropped his last name. ("I love my father, but I am not him.") She seems to gravitate toward bad-girl roles, as in the HBO docudrama "Gia: The Tragic Story of a Supermodel." A former model herself, she infused the title character's self-destructiveness with her own unique brand of incendiary sexuality, earning a Golden Globe nomination for the role.

    As the seductive and sociopathic Lisa in "Girl, Interrupted," Jolie once again served up a steamy performance that garnered her a Golden Globe award for best supporting actress, and an Oscar in the same category.

    Tongues wagged over her displays of affection for Oscar date and brother James Voight. Jolie showed up on "The Tonight Show" to castigate Jay Leno for his incest jokes. "You made my mother sick," she said after forcing him to reread his comments, assuring Leno, however, that, "If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't be here."

    Rumors about Jolie's bisexual past have now been confirmed in an interview with Barbara Walters, in which the star admits she had a fling with an unnamed woman before attaining celebrity status. She also says she'd do it again. "I consider myself a very sexual person. If I fell in love with a woman tomorrow, it's right to want to kiss her and touch her."

    She was on Barbara Walters last night. She is one odd cookie. He dad John Voight doesn't seem any better. I think she must of had a really f-up childhood.
