Jag board says Dennis Green is in Jacksonville right now.

Makes sense. Couglin was their GM as well.

I'm taking a live look of the podium where Coughlin will stand and eat it. He's due at the podium anytime now. I'll tell ya'll what he says.

Jax Owner just said, "I've asked Tom Coughlin to step down as the Jaguars head football coach."

Coughlin will not be commenting at this particular press conference.

neat. Wonder if they're going to make Coughlin have his "press conference" in the rain at his car like Pete Carroll did.

Chances are that was Carrol's decision to do that. I'd imagine that every team gives their fired coach an official chance to speak to the media, just like Caper's did here.

It wasn't Carroll's decision. Kraft kicked him to the curb very unceremoniously.

I wouldn't be surprised if parcells picked LeBeau to come along and be his successor. While philosophically they're a little different, he's hellacious stock as a DC. Whoever gets him is doing very well.
