    would a simple recursive link kill these fuckers?

    it wouldn't take too much to catch those cases, so maybe some kind of randomly generated url tag that gets ignored and send you to the same page (with another randomly generated url).

    Yeah, CAPTCHA's are ok, but when you add the Blackhole list check it makes a HUGE difference :biggrin:

    I was referring to the question and answer. Since I have been using it, ZERO spammers get through.

    It could be as simple a question as "What does the R stand for in TBR?" the spambots choke on it.

    Never made a 2nd account so I didnt notice. And they still get through?

    Just looked at the question... maybe it could be just a little tougher. The one that I get is the Alphabet one. The Raliegh one should stump most of us. :)

    oh, it could be way tougher. this was to rule out auto-registrations with a question that wouldn't appear on a list of obvious registration filters.
