Did anyone watch this? I found it entertaining.
I thought the "regular" people were too hard on the Amish people and showed that they weren't "open" to people different from them. Did anyone else get that feeling? Like it was okay to make fun of them etc.

I could only take about 20 minutes, but yeah, the city folk did seem pretty closed minded and foolish. Once the Amish put on regular clothes, I couldnt keep track of who was amish, so I turned it

I thought it showed, we aren't as open minded to "religious sects" as we are to other movements.

The city people did look seem mean. My wifes family lives in an Amish area and the the amish wanted her father to watch the show and tell them about it but did not want to watch it themselves. The buggy is owned by Rueben(amish) .

Oh that's funny because I was thinking...."Those people aren't going to like their kids wearing bikinis etc" then thought "Hey they don't even have tv" Took me awhile though.
Thought the Gay guy was really snotty, guess it's okay to be mean to Amish but not gay people. He should've known better.
