I used to take the ferry past Alcatraz to Sausulito to see some friends who lived there. I liked to go up to the gun emplacements above the Golden Gate bridge and burn a few. I took my guitar one time and sang sitting on the dock of the bay to myself over and over again, so I got that going for me, heh. After three years in Frisco I had to split before I turned crispy. That was when Patty Hearst and the SLA were doing their thing.

I spent my time walking the streets panhandling, in coffee houses and playing chess, jamming and toking with the congo drummers on Hippy Hill, selling a few lids. I wish I could have stayed there....:stooge_curly:

That's a high dollar area. Ate dinenr at Scoma's in Sausulito last year during a visit to SF. Good food and neat area with a great view of the city.

When I lived in SF I split the rent on an upstairs flat (like the pics of SF you see in movies) and my third was $66.00 per month utilities included. That same flat now I'll bet you would rent for $2K an month/no utilities. Different times.

a gallon of milk probably cost a lost less then than now too. If it weren't for the wingerbaggers, that apartment would still be $200/month

Some old farmer asked those guys if they were married when they were leaving his place. One guy answered, "we are married to rust."

Stumbled across this show for the first time. Those dudes must really know the value of that stuff as they just throw out numbers. I don't quite believe the profit numbers shown all the time but then again I'm not a antique/junk dealer.

I`d like to see a couple of the end sales they make to see if their value numbers are true.
