American Idol

Tamayra Gray. Yep, she was the class of that first year's competition. She was and is better than Kelly Clarkson, but TG was eliminated before she could even reach the top 3. It was a shocker, but at the same time I think most of America was saying, "That's alright -- she just got a head start on her recording contract." That it's taken this long for her to cut a CD I think was a mistake. She's lost some ground, but hopefully she'll make it back up. She is and awesome talent and a very classy young lady.

 

man, johnny red looks so freaking lost up there. it's like he keeps saying, "how bad do i have to sing before you will just vote me off and end this torture."

they keep voting him back on adn he keeps sucking ass in front of everyone.

fantasia, latoya and george should be the final three. fantasia is awesome.

i couldn't understand a word camile ever said.

and jpl looks like george bush with all the stupid faces he makes. i havent spoken to a woman yet who said that jpl doesn't creep them out for some reason. like a pedophiliac/freaky uncomfortable stalker way.

 

Simon once made the comment he can't believe how America votes. I wonder if Johnny has tons of friends and relatives

 

Since 2 women have been voted off the past two weeks a male is due. JPL and Steve (Redhead) have to be on the hot seat. Is it me or do some of the group songs remind you of the Brady Bunch sing alongs

 

If George doesn't learn to do something on stage beside that dipping motion, he will be gone

I never watch the show so I can't comment on who is better than who but I saw an interview today where someone asked Simon what kind of song the red headed kid should perform next week and Simon said "an instrumental"

and I worked with a guy that has a band and Fantasia has sung for them before. He said she is already getting some nice recording offers just based on the shows so far.

This weeks theme is Movie soundtrack songs. Should be a little eaisier on them. As far as Fantasia, she reminds me too much of Macy Grey which isn't one of my favorites
