    So far, it looks like a bunch of dumb folks of Asian origin will be featured. At least that's what Fox is advertising.

    I hate American Idol more than I've ever hated anything, and I've never even seen it. Dorkiest thing on TV.

    i thought the same at first, but after tonight, i know for a fact that all races and "origins" were represented in the dumb dept! dumbness is universal, IMO.

    sav, you missed a good one if you didnt watch it. there was this chick from bulgaria who can sing. and some redhead dude who was so refreshingly retro!

    they are going to be in atlanta tomorrow. yeeehaw! best reality tv so far. and that simon dude is annoyingly good!


    math, i just wanna say that the "whities" were well represented in the dumb dept! it's only the first show. everyone will have lots of chances to show off their "stuff!" this show makes me not want to sing at all! :roflmao:

    I'm sure they were. But the advertising didn't portray much diversity in that respect.

    i dreamed abot simon last night, or at least someone that was partly him. he wanted us to show gina our weiners and he called it "big dick jollies".

    that one guy who sang unchained melody as good. so was that 16 year old guy who did the dean martin imperssonation -- wow!

    i watched it last night and was so mortified for those folks who lacked the singing skills. Scat Girl? Damn.

    Here in Atlanta when AI was here looking for new recruits, each person had to go through two rounds before they EVER get a chance to audition in front of Paula, Randy, and Simon. So, essentially, the worst of the worst along with those who are truly talented are chosen to move forward in the "competition". Who can blame them for the shocked expressions on their face when they are finally told the truth that they suck.
