    Gene Simmons is a pretty good evaluator of talent and is a very good businessman. He's been responsible for many bands "making it". He saw Van Halen back when they were a local band in California and got them in front of record labels.

    If I were a contestant, and knew he was to be there, I would come out in full costume and makeup.
