    i like how fans of the show immediately thinks they're a music expert.

    i don't think paula can sing her way out of a wet paper bag, what does she know about real talent?

    and another observation.... they have to choose older popular music because todays music lacks complete melodies and coherentness.

    my philosophy... singing, you got it or you don't,
    instrument.... takes a great deal of skill and practice to master.... that's where the real talent is.

    I have almost never watched that show before but I tuned in this week. I did not know Gene Simmons was as judge now. That rocks, I would go on there and sing "Hard Luck Woman" or "Beth" if I were a contestant. Or maybe "I love it loud" :laugh1:

    I like the fact that they upped the age to 28 this season.. that's good b/c it gives more talented people the chance to audition. I also like the guest judges.. but man, there are some really bad people this time around.. I guess what they found out is that people like watching people embarrase themselves on tv. I have to admit it's pretty funny, but one time they let this kid keep singing and it was hurting my ears.. I had to put it on mute.

    I wish that I could see it more, but I am with Gregory at 8pm now every night at the hospital. I'll just follow along w/ the news.
