    I don't know about that, but I can't buy his argument regarding Sendek and mediocrity when he doesn't acknowledge mediocrity on the part of Amato.

    They were only 4th in the ACC when they went to the Gator Bowl? The ACC must have been really strong that year then, especially for a basketball conference.

    Yes, they were 4th. Standings don't count for much, though. The Gator isn't obligated to take the 2nd place ACC team.
