Actually, I take it back - Williams couldn't even make the all star team in 43, 44, or 45. :thud:

Yeah, it's a shame that he doesn't get talked about enough due to those lost years. What is a World War next to MLB's record book?

Not that you needed to, but you've again proven yourself to be a clueless douchebag.

Questioning Panther Paul's assertion that Pujols will be the best ever equates to chastising him? You really are an scrotum-suckling pile of shit.

I've acknowledged Pujols is a very talented player. For you, who would like nothing more than to bury your stubby burnt sausage of a penis sack deep in Albert's ass, that ain't good enough. Too fucking bad, you cum-drinking sack of wombat shit. I won't drool over what a guy's done in four years and assume that he'll duplicate his performance over a 20-year career.

Someone else is gonna come along and hit 150 homers and drive in 500 runs in his first four years. With the tiny new parks and the watered-down pitching that's out there, you can bank on it. And when that happens, you'll be right there, gazing at the guy's stats on Baseball America and abusing yourself with a a fungo bat. Enjoy your miserable existence, you fart-sniffing, mouth-breathing, hogleg-fondling waste of flesh.

I applaud the fact that you at least tried a comeback, but seriously, you just got murdered in that last post of mine and a meager rebuttal filled with hastily constructed insults and randomly assorted adjectives isn't going to cut it. Your flames have no artistry, and no bite. I think the brevity and weakness of your post shows that you know it on some level, but obviously you had to say something. I just hope you learned a lesson in the process.

Ted Williams was in WW2? Really? Wow. Next thing you know you are going to tell me he was lefthanded.

For the record, I was being semi-serious. Everyone knows Williams, but he still doesn't get the credit he would have without missing those seasons.

Sure he does. There isn't anyone who knows anything about baseball who would dispute that Williams was one of the 3-4 best hitters of all time - if not the absolute best. They also know that if he had only averaged his normal year for the 5 that he missed because of WW2 and Korea that he would been pushing to pass Ruth in every offensive category.

But I also seriously doubt that even Williams thought that after 4 years he caould even be mentioned in the same sentence with Ruth.

And no one would dispute that Williams was the best switch hitter of all times :thud:
