    That would be enough. If I felt there was a solution to it, I'd outline it, but I don't.

    I've used the system restore feature a dozen or so times.

    That's not a Vista issue. Anywho, looks like a nice laptop. Got my woman a Dell with that screen a while ago, it's very pretty.

    Glad you said that about the screen. I had no way to know. The way the coupon worked I had to get the cost up to $1299 to save the $400, and that screen was one thing I had no idea about. More $ doesn't always mean better.

    I have a feeling I'll be building a PC within the next year and throwing this one inside. I hate this fucking thing, whether its Vista or Dell or Mcafee or AMD or all of them.

    They make pretty sexy Dell and Lenovo laptops these days for very little money... That screen is bad ass, and I got a buddy with the 17" version and it's insane...

    I dunno if you remember a few years ago I went discount laptops.com - they were like 300-500 less than a comparable dell. It's the opposite today. That machine would've been about $1500.

    It's a well built unit, too.

    That said, my chembook ( compal ) I got from discountlaptops.com is still great.

    FWIW, that was 3 years ago. Nuts.
