No, it wasn't that serious. He's expected to be back in action for the NCAA Tournament.

well, the trainer called immediately for a stretcher and for an opthamologist, and people close to the court were crying. i'd say that is a little much for a poke in the eye. granted, i don't have my own magazine or anything like that, but i've watched a lot of basketball.

collin, stick to football you fucking **********.

Relief: Ray's eye injury not as bad as expected; Villanova losesBY SHANNON NEW YORK - Waiting for bad news has become a bad habit for Villanova's seniors.
During four years, they have had to deal with and try to overcome more injuries than most teams ever have to face.
For once, while they were waiting for the worst news, they got some of the best they've ever heard on senior guard Allan Ray.
Ray left the Wildcats' 68-54 Big East Conference tournament semifinal loss to Pittsburgh on Friday night with an eye injury too gruesome for television to replay...

Exactly what I said, moron. And for further proof: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=2363644
"It looked a lot worse than it was," Wright said. "It's going to be day-to-day." Wright said he was told there was no damage to Ray's cornea, and no stitches were needed."

how in the hell could anyone with the any semblance of common sense, and knowing the bullshit that you post, take that ANY other way?

you tried to come off sounding like you know more as usual. but, you were fucking wrong. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. go back to football and piss off those people. and let us argue about the ugliest duke or carolina player like real basketball fans do.

seriously man, what the fuck about an eye injury could be "too gruesome for television replay"? can you answer that for me? they'll show a leg snap in the nfl yet they won't show someone get poked in the eye? um, no. i have a feeling that someone's eye dangling out of their socket might be a little disturbing to some viewers. but if you can come up with some dumbass reason to prove that FOR SURE his eye wasn't poked out, be my guest. otherwise, you're just guessing and going along with it because you are in fact a **********.
