not to argue either side of this dickwagging fantasyland where things that didn't happen count and things that happened don't, or we credit near-INTs to other people, but wouldn't Vinny have had a 2nd TD if Carter wasn't held in the endzone? We ended up kicking the FG.

    1-7-ARI 7 (6:35) 16-V.Testaverde pass incomplete short middle to 18-D.Carter.

I hear plenty of credit, where it's deserved. Beason, lot of love. He's playing well. Our D-line showed up. Smitty is Smitty. Colbert caught as many as he dropped. An improvement.

    True.
    False.
You seriously need to stop with these kinds of comments. You haven't remotely earned the right to talk like me.

Yeah. Endless articles and comments about how this offense was going to be so much different and so exciting only for it to look pretty much the same way that it did last year. Lots of sound and fury signifying nothing, I guess.

Dude, come on. It's one thing when you say something stupid, and a whole 'nother level of annoying when you say something stupid that I've already answered. With Carr we did throw downfield much more often, and he was much more successful at it. Testaverde had 4 attempts beyond 10 yards and completed only one to Smith for that TD.

That's a fair point. Good lord that call was obvious.

Given that Carr only threw for a little over 100 yards it is hard to see how he could have had much success throwing down the field.

Good lord. Does your brain retain any information older than a day or is there just not enough room for more than that? Surely you remember how I explained ad nauseum that Carr only had 17 attempts and that one of his deep balls was dropped while another was called back due to holding.

I am still not counting stuff that did not count..... Did it ever occur to you that if Carr had converted more third downs then he would have had the ball more and therefore gotten more pass attempts?

That had fairly little to do with it. We kept running and running and running the ball even though we had success when Carr passed on first or second downs. It was Davidson's worst game by far.
