    yeah, I know CBS Sportsline has something like this on their page today......but I've always had some fun arguments with people on this subject. So fire away...........

    And by no means should A-Rod beat out Cal for best SS. IMO

    A-Rod is good, but not Cal, most should agree.

    Please tell me you are related to Ricky. That is about the only reason that I could see taking him over Ted Williams.

    you are just nastaligic. Ricky henderson is the best lead off hitter ever to play the game. Of course he wasn't the hitter Ted was, but his OB% is sick and he might of been the fastest player in the game's history. All those stolen bases equated to alot of runs.

    Actually - I am not really that nostalgic, but about the only left fielder you could argue putting there ahead of Williams is Bonds - and I don't think that he is the hitter William was. Henderson is awesome - and I loved the way he distracted the pitchers and he certainly was fast, but Williams is number one in OB% and number one in OPS. And really - how much stealing are you really going to let Ricky do with these names hitting behind him?
