Because anything can happen in one game. Hell, UNC even managed to beat a better Duke team in one game last year. NC State beat Houston. Duke beat UNLV. Now those weren't even really in the coin flip category. But IMO a Duke Texas rematch would approach coin flip status based on how both teams are playing now.

So you say dook is a better team than Texas in one sentence, that you would be upset if Texas were to get a number one seed and dook didn't. Then you say if they were to play now it would approach a coin flip, basically saying they are even money heads up?

 

sly can't make his mind up. Not long ago Duke was "clearly" the best team in the nation and deserved to be ranked #1. Now that it's time for their annual stumble in the tournament, he's hedging his bets by naming 500 teams who are "as good as" Duke, so that he has a built in excuse if they lose. That strikes me as a real pussy move and questions the whole idea that sly is actually a Duke fan. I think he's a sly fan more than anything else.

For my own part, I do think Duke is better than any team except maybe UConn, and assuming UNC doesn't make some kind of magical run, I'll be pulling for them to win it all (even if it means enduring sly's "I told you so"s even though he never told us so).

 

Duke was an underdog when they played the first time if I recall correctly. Duke won and yes that is an objective measure. Yes, I feel another game would approach coin flip status. Maybe 55% to 45% in favor of Duke. I would say odds need to approach 60% to 40% before a game would reach choke status.

Its not just me dipshit. Vegas says Duke has a 72% chance of losing. Agreeing with Vegas makes me smart, not pussy. Those are the professional odds makers. You on the other hand are a pussy simply because you are a pimply faced nerd boy.
